My passion is to assist others in creating true wellness from the inside out by restoring the body’s natural balance. I utilize a combination of techniques, including Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, and Massage Therapy to create a calming, therapeutic, and balancing treatment that is unique to your needs each time you come in.
My experiences, personally and professionally, have shown me that receiving bodywork on a consistent basis helps to build our own body awareness. I believe this is an important step in continuing to make healthy choices for ourselves outside of the treatment room.
Just a little history…
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in 1997, creating my own major at UMass Amherst studying Comparative World Religions. After many years working in the retail and corporate world during and after college, I decided it was time to pursue a career more aligned with my heart.
My own struggles with anxiety and depression, especially throughout college and the years following, led me to develop an interest in natural health and wellness. Eventually, I felt a strong desire to help others feel better and lead healthier lives physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This led me to become a Reiki Practitioner in 2003. I then graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2005. I continued my Reiki training, receiving my Reiki Master Teacher attunement in 2006. I have been practicing Craniosacral Therapy since 2010 and became a Certified Professional Life Coach in 2014.
When I’m not in the treatment room, I enjoy spending time in the woods hiking with my husband (our hiking blog www.ourlunchwithaview.com details many of our adventures) or out on the soccer fields watching our son. I am also an avid reader on anything from spirituality and health to science fiction and love stories.
